LISA’S BARBER HISTORY

In 1990, I embarked on my barbering journey under the mentorship of my mother, Sandy, who owned and operated Sandy’s Barber Shop located at 31 South Main Street in Pittsford, New York 14534. With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years and a strong family legacy rooted in the art of hair cutting, Sandy inherited her skills from her father, Charlie, a seasoned barber with more than 56 years of expertise.

During this time, I apprenticed under Sandy part-time for 15 years while balancing responsibilities raising my young family. As my children grew older and I could commit to full-time work, I pursued formal education at a barber school to obtain my master barber license. In 2010, equipped with my license, I transitioned to working full-time at Sandy’s Barbershop.

When Sandy retired in 2015, I assumed ownership and management of the shop with great pride, continuing its longstanding legacy under my stewardship. The satisfaction derived from helping individuals look their best has been a driving force throughout my over four-decade-long career in the barber business—a profession that has not only blessed me but also enriched the lives of our valued clientele within the community.

It is an honor to uphold the tradition of skill and care passed down through generations within our family lineage. Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate many more years dedicated to providing top-notch service and maintaining our commitment to excellence in every grooming experience we offer.
